2022 Best Discounts for Seniors in Fort Worth

Everybody loves a great deal! As a senior, your aging loved one might be missing out on some great discounts in and around Fort Worth, Texas. We wanted to collect some of the popular discounts that seniors can qualify for to save an extra dollar!

Home Depot

Home Depot is always a popular destination for those looking at new appliances or getting supplies to complete their next DIY project. If your aging loved one is always working on a new project, you might check out one of the Home Depot locations in Fort Worth off of the Southwest Loop or Bridgewood Drive. Home Depot doesn’t offer an exclusive deal to seniors but if your aging loved one is a U.S. military veteran, they can receive a 10% discount.

JOANN Fabrics and Crafts

JOANN Fabrics has a few different locations around Fort Worth like off of Hulen Street or Green Oaks Road. Seniors that are 55+ years of age or older will be able to qualify for their regular Senior Discount Days that are done regularly throughout the year. They can receive 20% off of their total purchase but will need to keep an eye on their company calendar or sign up for a newsletter to know when the next senior discount day will occur.

Kohl’s

Kohl’s doesn’t have a ton of store locations in or around Fort Worth aside from the location off of the Southwest Loop. They do offer one of the better and regular discounts though every Wednesday. If you are 60 years or older, you can receive up to a 15% discount on those Wednesdays. You should also note that there are exceptions on the discount along with when it can be applied after using Kohl’s Cash.

T.J. Maxx

T.J. Maxx is another store with a location off of Southwest Loop that doesn’t have a recurring senior discount in Texas… yet. They are currently testing a 10% discount in their Florida stores which could extend to other states depending on how the test goes. There are some locations across the U.S. that also offer veteran discounts but it is on a store-by-store basis depending on the location’s owner. You will want to call the store off of SW Loop to confirm they offer a discount before making your way there.

Boston Market

This is another national chain that leaves it up to individual locations to decide whether or not they offer a discount to seniors over the age of 60. You can check on the Boston Market located on South Hulen Street to see if they offer one. It is typically around 10% off of your food order but will vary depending on location.

Burger King

With several locations across Fort Worth from East Berry Street to Golden Triangle Boulevard, those over the age of 60 might find Burger King to be a regular discount they use. It can differ depending on the franchise location owner but most seniors can expect a 10% discount. Burger King’s are also known to offer soft drink and other deals on coffee too.

Krispy Kreme

If you are craving a good donut and are close to Westworth Boulevard, you might give them a call to see if they offer a senior discount. Apparently, Krispy Kreme doesn’t offer a nationwide discount for seniors but many locations choose to offer a 10% discount to individuals over the age of 50. We weren’t able to confirm with the Fort Worth Krispy Kreme if a senior discount was available, but it’s worth a shot if you’re wanting a donut and coffee!
